Tenom has been known as the state’s agriculture producers due to its fertile soil, and the Padas Farmstay is a thriving example of a conducive agro-tourism destination surrounded by various types of plantations in an integrated farming system with livestock breeding.
Touring around the farm, visitors can experience authentic farmstay, learn about farming and harvest some of the fruits for a sample. Also within the farmstay is their coffee plantation so one can learn about the processes involved in coffee cultivation.
The farmstay offers accommodation for travellers, volunteers and can even accommodate a group for an educational trip. Do try their in-house speciality drink, the famous ‘Asam Boi’ calamansi drink produced freshly from the farm.
