Merdeka Day

Date : 31 August 2008

On 31 August 1957, the federation of Malaya States gained its independence from the British. Hence, this day is known as ‘Hari Merdeka' or ‘Independence Day'. Every state will have a march-past simultaneously with the National level held in Kuala Lumpur.
