The Kg. Bayangan Homestay is located two-and-a-half hour’s drive south of Kota kinabalu. The village is called ‘Bayangan’, or in its original Dusun word, ‘Sangai’, which means ‘reflection’. The village’s name is derived from a nearby river of which has been said to have a very clear reflection of oneself by the first pioneers of the area.
