KOTA KINABALU, 2nd SEPTEMBER 2010 - Once again Contagious Concepts (M) Sdn. Bhd. presents the "Stompin Sabah 2010", the Ultimate Borneo Music Blast that has proved its unique performances and original style of music. Ignited by Xpax, Celcom Axiata Berhad [formerly known as Celcom (Malaysia) Berhad] main prepaid brand targeting the youth, "Stompin Sabah" is back for the second time running with ‘bigger' artistes and better music!
First introduced on 31 December 2009 in conjunction with the New Year celebration, this year's "Stompin Sabah" will be happening on 6 November 2010 at Sabah Port (Jesselton Point), Kota Kinabalu from 6pm until 2am the following day. This event is also supported by the Ministry of Tourism Sabah and Dewan Bandaraya Kota Kinabalu.

Over the years, Xpax has ignited events such as the MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia, Rainforest World Music Festival, Miri Jazz Festival, concerts by international stars the like of Ne-Yo and Lee Hom, just to name a few.

Xpax customers need to type "REGSTOMPIN" and SMS to 28881, and a confirmation SMS will be sent upon successful registration. After which, reload a minimum of RM30 worth of airtime and a mobile voucher for a FREE "Stompin Sabah 2010" VIP pass with redemption instructions will be sent to you. Pass redemption can be made at the Kota Kinabalu's Celcom branch on a first-come-first-serve basis and while stock last.

Experience the uniqueness of the combined "Urban Music" and "Nature-Inspired Music" ‘live' on stage. The "Stompin Sabah 2010" will open with Shawn Lee ‘beat boxing' alongside MC Vibe and Toi of Akademi Fantasia 6 who will be playing the ‘angklung'. Not-to-be-missed is the ‘battle of the guitar' by Malaysia's famous musicians such as Joe Wings and Man Kidal. And for the first time, the event will be introducing the winning guitarist, Dicken from Ranau, Sabah.
Our very own Rock Queen, Ella, will also be rocking the stage of "Stompin sabah 2010" with her energetic performance. The event will be featuring local and international deejays the like of DJ Tony, Genderang Toi Angklung, Wicked Aura Batucada from Singapore and Kulahig from Philippines.
Other than the Sabah population, the event also targets audiences from Peninsular Malaysia, South East Asian countries as well as Australia.
The official magazine for the event is Breeze whilst the official hotel is Imperial Hotel Sabah. Tickets are priced at RM30 for general & RM100 for VIP and ticket are available at Jesselton Point and Imperial Hotel from 11 October to 6 November 2010 from 11am to 8pm.
