Semporna is situated in the South-Eastern Coast of Sabah and is the capital of the Semporna District. It is known as the gateway to dive haven in Sabah. Visitors would usually take a flight to Tawau airport and book an airport taxi to Semporna town which is 81.7 kilometers away from Tawau town. Alternatively, coach bus service is also available from Kota Kinabalu City.
